Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled OTT App Developer with experience in developing applications for Roku, Samsung Tizen, and LG webOS platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and testing OTT apps across these devices, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Job Responsibility:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain OTT apps for Roku, Samsung Tizen, and LG webOS platforms.
- Ensure compatibility across various TV models and screen resolutions.
- Perform testing on the required devices to ensure high-quality performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and optimize app performance.
- Debug and resolve issues related to app functionality and user experience.
Key Performance Areas (KPA):
- Development of robust OTT applications for Roku, Samsung Tizen, and LG webOS.
- Cross-device compatibility and optimization of apps.
- Timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
- Maintenance of high performance and user experience standards in apps.
- Continuous testing and debugging on multiple devices.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- App Performance: Maintain <1% crash rate and >95% app uptime.
- App Delivery: Meet 100% of deadlines for app releases and feature updates.
- Bug Resolution: Resolve reported bugs within an average of 48 hours.
- Testing Coverage: Ensure 100% testing on required devices before app release.
User Experience: Achieve user ratings of 4.5+ across app stores for each platform.
Required Skills & Qualification:
- 1-2 years of experience in OTT app development.
- Proficiency in working with Roku (BrightScript), Samsung Tizen (Tizen Studio), and LG webOS.
- Experience with streaming technologies and media content delivery.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Must have the required TV and devices for app testing.
- Must be aware of app submission and review guidelines from respected TV app stores(LG, Samsung and Roku)
