    Job Description:

    QA is responsible for the website and mobile app testing to ensure that the website or mobile app is reliable, efficient, user-friendly, and secure and that it meets the needs of the end users. Additionally, QA should focus on enhancing their expertise by exploring Game Application QA, ensuring games undergo thorough testing and meet the highest quality standards before public release.


    Job Responsibility:

    • Test Planning: The QA team should work closely with the development team to create a test plan that outlines the testing approach, testing types, and test scenarios for website and mobile testing. They should also collaborate with other stakeholders to identify the test environment, testing tools, and testing timeline.
    • Test Case Design and Execution: QA team should design and execute test cases for website and mobile testing, ensuring that they cover all functional requirements and user scenarios. They should also identify and document any defects found during testing and work with the development team to resolve them.
    • Performance Testing: The QA team should also perform performance testing to ensure that the website or mobile app can handle high traffic volumes, and that it can function efficiently under normal and peak loads.
    • User Experience Testing: QA team should test for user experience to ensure that the website or mobile app is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and meets the needs of end-users. This testing should include usability testing, accessibility testing, and compatibility testing.
    • Compatibility Testing: The QA team ensures that the game, websites and web apps are compatible with different platforms, operating systems, and hardware configurations. They test the game on various devices and configurations to make sure it works as intended.
    • Regression Testing: The QA team should perform regression testing to ensure that any changes or updates made to the website or mobile app have not introduced new defects or issues.
    • Continuous Improvement: The QA team should constantly look for ways to improve the testing process, identify and implement new tools and techniques, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

    Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

    • Test Planning:  Identification of testing environment, tools, and timeline. Collaboration with stakeholders to identify business and user requirements for testing.
    • Test Case Design and Execution: Design and execution of test cases that cover all functional requirements and user scenarios. Ensuring that all test cases are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Performance Testing: Execution of performance testing to determine website or mobile app’s performance capabilities. Identifying areas of potential bottleneck or low performance. Recommending and implementing performance optimization measures.
    • User Experience Testing: Ensuring that the website or mobile app meets the user’s requirements and expectations. Documentation of feedback from users on user experience.
    • Compatibility Testing: Ensuring that the website or mobile app is compatible with different platforms, operating systems, and hardware configurations.
    • Regression Testing: Conducting regression testing to ensure that changes or updates to the website or mobile app do not introduce new defects. Collaboration with the development team to resolve any issues found.
    • Responsive Testing:- Responsive testing involves testing the user interface, user experience, and functionality of the website or application. This includes testing the layout, font size, images, videos, and other elements to ensure that they are properly optimized for each screen size.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identification and implementation of new tools and techniques to enhance the testing process.Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices.

    Key performance indicators (KPIs):

    • Test Planning: Percentage of the effectiveness of the test plan and strategy in identifying issues.
    • Test Case Design and Execution: Test execution efficiency and accuracy, Defect identification and resolution time.
    • Performance Testing: Identification of performance bottlenecks and resolution time
    • User Experience Testing: User satisfaction level, Usability issues identified and resolved time and Ease of access for the end user.
    • Compatibility Testing: Number of compatibility issues identified and resolved, Testing coverage completeness.
    • Regression Testing: Regression test execution time and accuracy, Defect identification and resolution time.
    • Continuous Improvement: Test process improvement initiatives and Feedback from stakeholders (e.g., development team, end-users) on test process improvement.

    Required Skills & Qualification:

    • Proven previous experience in testing web applications. Experience in understanding requirements, preparing Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Executing test cases & Bug reporting to developers. 
    • Expert in cross-browser/environment testing. 
    • Experience with specific tools and processes used in web software testing. 
    • Knowledge of web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance.
    • Experience in all phases of the Software Development life cycle(SDLC), and Software Testing life cycle(STLC).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Excellent attention to detail. 
    • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills. 
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to “think outside of the box”.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be corrected to deliver the best user experience to the end user.
    • An aptitude for ongoing learning and the ability to develop skill sets.
    • Professional, positive, and results-oriented approach.
    • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
    • Good Understanding in API Testing using POSTMAN tool.
    • Good Understanding in Load testing using Jmeter Tool
