To develop a robust and scalable web application that automates the process of extracting, validating, and verifying data from business-critical PDF documents (Invoices, Packaging Lists, Annexures, Booking Details, and Purchase Vouchers). The system reduces manual intervention, eliminates human errors, ensures compliance, and integrates seamlessly with the client’s ERP system.
The AI-Based Invoice Analyser was designed to automate data extraction from uploaded PDF files using Gemini AI, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. To make the process seamless, it provides an intuitive, interactive UI that allows users to verify and correct extracted data with ease. The system supports multiple document workflows, including Invoices, Packaging Lists, Annexures, Booking Details, and Purchase Vouchers. Extracted data is validated against ERP-synced master datasets such as the Expense Account Master and Job Numbers, guaranteeing consistency and compliance. All information is securely stored in MongoDB and transferred to the ERP through APIs, while centralized document management is achieved with AWS S3 integration.
The solution was designed as a seamless blend of AI, cloud, and ERP integration. The frontend was developed using ReactJS to deliver a responsive and interactive user experience, while the backend leveraged NodeJS (Express) for API management, validations, and ERP connectivity. MongoDB served as the database, ensuring structured and scalable storage for invoice data. For intelligent processing, Gemini AI was integrated to handle data extraction and normalization. AWS S3 provided secure cloud storage for document handling, and REST APIs enabled smooth ERP integration for master data management and verified submission.
