A Scalable, Secure Infrastructure for Streamlined Operations

The Smart E-commerce Operations Hub platform is built on a solid Next.js frontend that handles both the UI and backend logic with server-side rendering (SSR) for performance and SEO. The backend is powered by Supabase, which manages authentication (Supabase Auth), database (PostgreSQL), real-time updates, and file storage. Stripe is integrated for payment processing, allowing contractors to purchase equipment securely.

The Makerkit Boilerplate was used to quickly set up authentication, APIs, and database models, enabling rapid development. The use of JWT tokens ensures secure authentication, and Row-Level Security (RLS) in Supabase enforces fine-grained access control for different user roles.

Additionally, integrating Stripe for secure payments while syncing with project approval workflows required careful attention to ensure seamless transaction processing.
